What are your office hours?

We are open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. We will soon be offering Saturday appointments for sick and urgent appointments only.

What if we need someone after hours?

If your child requires attention after hours, call our number 850-257-5524 and our 24 hour on call nurse will be call you back and help point you in the right direction. As always, if it is a medical emergency, call 911 immediately. Dr. Rezk has hospital privileges at both Gulf Coast Medical Center and Bay Medical Center.

Can you see my child immediately if they are sick?

We make every effort to schedule appointments for ill children on the day that you call us as availability permits. Please call our office ahead of time so that we can minimize the time that you will spend waiting. If you have a medical emergency during office hours, we will do our best to see your child immediately or refer you to the appropriate facility.

May I walk in without an appointment?

We only take sick or urgent Walk-ins at this time. Please schedule an appointment otherwise.

What about emergencies?

In the case of an emergency, please call 911. Emergencies are considered to be those conditions that are life-threatening: loss of consciousness, severe bleeding, seizure, etc. In the case of minor emergencies (lacerations, cuts, sprains), please call our office first for instructions.

When should we schedule ‘Well Child’ visits?

Rainbow Pediatrics recommends that you bring in your child for regular check ups to keep them healthy. Our well child schedule on our website details the typical visits that you can anticipate as your child grows.

Do you take my insurance?

We accept most insurance carriers. Please check with our office prior to your office visit to determine the eligibility of the visit. Should we not accept your insurance carrier, you may be responsible for the entire charge at the time of service.

Will your providers see my newborn in the hospital?

Dr Rezk is currently performing nursery coverage at Gulf Coast Medical Center. The staff pediatricians at your delivery hospital will see your newborn and complete the necessary newborn examination.

What if my child is admitted to the hospital?

Dr. Rezk has hospital privileges at both Gulf Coast Medical Center and Bay Medical Center. Your child will receive excellent care by the pediatricians who work full time at the hospital, with close oversight by Rainbow Pediatrics'' pediatricians.
